BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Prompt Engineer for an opportunity in Wilmington, DE 19801

Position Title: Prompt Engineer

Location: Wilmington, DE 19801 - only

Pay Range: [$50] to [$60]

Job Responsibilities

Prompt Engineering and Refinement
- Design, test, and optimize prompts to improve LLM accuracy and relevance.
- Analyze model responses to identify areas for prompt improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop prompt templates and best practices.
- Maintain a repository of effective prompts and document changes for future reference.

Documentation and Reporting
- Prepare clear documentation of processes, findings, and recommendations.
- Assist in drafting user guides, FAQs, and training materials for regulatory reviewers.

Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with internal teams (AI/ML, compliance, product) to align on requirements and priorities.
- Participate in regular project meetings and status updates.

Prompt engineering is the practice of crafting and refining instructions (prompts) to guide AI models, particularly large language models (LLMs), to produce desired outputs. It involves a range of skills for developing effective prompts that range from simple tasks to complex problems, improving LLM performance, reliability, and safety. Techniques include providing examples (few-shot prompting), breaking down tasks into steps (chain-of-thought prompting), and offering clear, specific instructions
