Position Title: Financial Analyst 3

Location: Remote - PST hours required

Expected Duration: Contract of 18 Months

Job Type: Contract and Remote

Pay Range: $45 - $50/hr. on w2

Years of Experience Required: 5-7 overall years of experience in the field.

Degrees or certifications required: NO degree is required to be eligible for this role. Financial background expected (accounting)

Minimum 5 years' Experience in Power BI reporting

Minimum 5 years' experience working in SEQUEL

Minimum 5 years' experience with Exceptional Excel experience

Disqualifiers: Candidates without Analytics Modeling, finance, or accounting experience will not be eligible for the role.

Core Job Responsibilities:

• Industry Solutions finance team focuses on Consumption, sales strategy, and revenue, working with various projects that support the company.
• Specific role responsibilities will consist of 60% project work, on specific projects. Including reporting, month end tasks, seeing problems/issues and creating solutions. 40% standard reporting supporting other team members. Performing -standard reporting/analysis
• Responsible for developing, interpreting, and implementing financial models for financial planning and control. Analyzes and reports on financial performance of projects and programs. Create reporting for senior management. Preparer of information.
• Strong conceptual and analytical skills.

• Well organized with strong attention to detail, effective written and verbal communication.
• Strong cross and group collaboration and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Microsoft products required.
• Intermediate to advanced level Excel skills.

Job Description:

Summary:

The main functions of a financial analyst are to gather and analyze financial information; will typically conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting investment programs of public or private institutions. A typical financial analyst is responsible for analyzing and communicating financial information for clients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assemble spreadsheets and draw charts and graphs used to illustrate technical reports.
• Analyze financial information to produce forecasts of business, industry, and economic conditions for use in making investment decisions.
• Interpret data affecting investment programs, such as price, yield, stability, and future trends in investment risks.
• Present oral and written reports on general economic trends, individual corporations, and entire industries.

  Skills:

• Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking.
• Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
• Ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses.
• Knowledge of economic and accounting principles, the financial markets, and reporting of financial data.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations as related to accounting.
• Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and any other related financial software.

  Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related financial discipline required. An advanced degree in financial discipline is preferred.
• 5-7 years' financial and/or accounting experience required.
