Job Description

We are seeking a Sourcing Manager, Data Center Equipment to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in strategic sourcing, supply chain management, robotics and automation technologies and a proven ability to negotiate complex agreements, optimize supplier performance, and ensure assurance of supply for data center operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and nurture strategic vendor relationships using scorecards, business reviews, and collaboration to meet commercial and technical requirements.
  • Maintain current knowledge of data center equipment, robotics, and automation trends and conduct market analysis.
  • Drive supplier RFI/RFQ processes and lead business awards.
  • Develop and execute negotiation strategies, terms and conditions, and lead negotiations to contract closure.
  • Negotiate MPAs, MSAs, and SOWs with a strong grasp of key contractual terms.
  • Own market and actual cost data and develop should-cost models for data center equipment.
  • Resolve commercial and technical queries from the quotation process.
  • Ensure end-to-end business metrics from manufacturing to data center operation are achieved.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Quality, Strategic Engineering and Design, Global Site Sourcing, Facility Operations, Construction, and Connectivity teams.
  • Define and drive core business metrics and risk indicators for continuous improvement and provide metrics for quarterly business reviews.
  • Partner with Demand/Supply teams on forecasting, materials management, qualification, reliability, and allocation to assure supply and capacity.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • BA/BS or equivalent with 3-5 years of supply chain experience.
  • 5+ years in Sourcing or Supply Chain Management in commercial sourcing roles.
  • Proven analytical ability to guide teams and deliver results using performance measures and cost models.
  • Experience improving supplier performance, preferably within semiconductor or memory commodities.
  • Extensive experience with contracts and negotiations, including strategy development and agreement closure.
  • Proficiency in robotics and automation with understanding of supply chain integration.

Preferred Skills:

  • MS or MBA.
  • Knowledge of forecasting, supplier qualification, allocation, materials management, and quality assurance.
  • Experience in automation, robotics, and warehouse or logistics environments.

Specialized Requirements (Robotics/AI Sourcing Focus):

  • Master's or Bachelor's in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Analytics, Robotics and Automation, or related field, and 5 years of relevant experience.
  • 5 years of material or production planning experience.
  • 5 years working with enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle, and custom applications.
  • 5 years with SQL and/or BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) to build and maintain supplier scorecards.
  • 2 years negotiating software licensing models for robotics or AI, including per-robot, per-site, usage-based, and support or maintenance terms.
  • 2 years defining contract and supplier requirements for AI systems, including model performance metrics, test and validation methods, update and rollback processes, telemetry and incident response for safety-critical failures, and data governance requirements.
