Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer II to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in electronic instrument development, integration, and test, and a proven ability to design test procedures, execute verification activities, and document results to support reliable product delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on development, integration, assembly, and testing of electronic control instruments for scientific research.
• Design robust test procedures and document test plans, results, and conclusions.
• Gather technical design requirements and perform test and verification against electrical and mechanical design guidelines.
• Conduct measurements with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and spectrum analyzers to validate performance, EMI, and signal integrity.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency with electrical test instruments, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and spectrum analyzers.
• Solid understanding of analog and digital circuits and components such as DACs, ADCs, and FPGAs.
• Knowledge of electrical measurement techniques, calibration, and measurement automation.
• Python programming and basic scripting on Linux for test automation and data analysis.
• Familiarity with PCB design concepts and assembly procedures.
• Basic understanding of network configuration and socket programming.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel for reporting and documentation.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering preferred, or AS degree with 3-5 years of experience.

Preferred Skills:

• C/C++ programming.
• FPGA and digital design exposure.
• Network configuration and programming.
• Test automation and scripting.
