Senior Visual Designer
BCforward is currently seeking a highly Senior Visual Designer (Contractor) for Fully remote Work opportunity in Redmond, WA
Position Title: Senior Visual Designer
Location: (Redmond, WA), Fully remote
Anticipated Start Date: - ASAP
Expected Duration: 3 + Months Contract
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $60.00-$65.00 on w2 only
Note: Years of Experience Required: 10+ overall years of experience as a Visual Designer.
The ideal resume would contain heavy experience with storytelling and branding, Figma, Accessibility, PowerPoint [expert, management, consistent graphics], Viva Engage, SharePoint [apply branding to SharePoint], for 2nd HC, any financial services industry experience
Summary
The main function of a Graphic Designer is to create designs, concepts and sample layouts based on design principles and concepts. A typical graphic designer needs to have a high level of creativity and able to communicate their ideas to both internal and external clients. The ability to be flexible to client demands, work well under pressure and multi-task are required skills.
Requirement
* Plan, analyze and create visual solutions to communication problems
* Develop overall layout and production design of publications or web interfaces as they relate to graphic design
* Prepare sketches or layouts to present to client
* Create charts and graphs from data given
Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience
1. Minimum 6 years experience with PowerPoint [Expert level]
2. Minimum 6 years experience with Figma
3. Minimum 6 years experience with Stakeholder collaboration for Visual Design
Qualifications:
* Associate's degree in design and/or certificate in graphic design required. Bachelor's degree in design or related field preferred
* 10+ years experience required
* Creativity, verbal and written communication skills and problem solving ability
* Basic ability to utilize various forms of media, including print, electronic and film
* Basic ability to visualize in 2D and 3D and understand aesthetic aspects of design
* Previous experience using the computer to create layouts and generate new images
* Experience with Adobe publishing and graphics software
