Title: Scrum MasterLocation - Purchase, NYDuration - Through the end of the year - possibility to extend based on performance Technical Scrum MasterRole Expectations: Scrum Master with Technical Understanding (Monday.com)This hybrid role combines Scrum Master responsibilities with technical product ownership. The individual will be accountable for sprint delivery, Azure DevOps governance, and full sustainment of Monday.com, including its integrations, custom boards, and automations. The role requires strong technical expertise, process discipline, and stakeholder management skills. 1. Agile Delivery & Scrum Leadership
- Drive sprint planning, execution, reviews, and retrospectives for Monday.com initiatives.
- Ensure sprint goals, stories, and acceptance criteria are clear, realistic, and aligned to transformation priorities.
- Maintain complete documentation of sprint artifacts (plans, retros, outcomes, velocity metrics) in Azure DevOps.
- Track delivery metrics and reinforce Agile best practices across the team.
- Coordinate all Agile ceremonies for the Monday.com development team: Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Ensure sessions are productive, structured, and aligned to business priorities.
- Provide coaching and guidance on Agile best practices, particularly balancing enhancements with sustain work.
- Support the in backlog grooming, prioritization, and refinement for Monday.com initiatives.
- Submit/approve access requests.
- Assign/revoke admin privileges.
- Restore permissions when required.
- Maintain Monday.com-related projects, tasks, test cases, and sprint artifacts accurately in ADO.
- Ensure security, compliance, and role governance standards are met across ADO.
- Existing and new integrations with enterprise platforms.
- Custom boards already created by business teams.
- Automations already deployed, ensuring reliability and troubleshooting issues.
- Prioritize and manage backlog items for sustainment fixes and new development.
- Translate business requirements into actionable tasks and work closely with developers on execution.
- Provide ongoing governance and support to ensure Monday.com platform stability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across integrations, custom boards, and automations.
- Document sustainment activities in knowledge articles, runbooks, and support guides.
- Collaborate with support teams to streamline monitoring, maintenance, and incident resolution.
- Act as the bridge between transformation business teams and the development team.
- Manage high-demand and complex stakeholder expectations with clear communication and structure.
- Evaluate, prioritize, and balance requests to protect platform stability while enabling innovation.
- Ensure alignment of sustainment activities with transformation initiatives.
- Deep expertise with Azure DevOps boards, workflows, sprint tracking, and test case planning.
- Ability to assess technical feasibility and solution approaches with Engineering and developers and guide re-architecture when needed.
- Maintain structured knowledge artifacts for both technical teams and business stakeholders.
8. Leadership & Accountability
- Serve as the single point of accountability for Monday.com delivery and sustainment in Azure DevOps.
- Balance new development with long-term sustainment of the platform and its integrations.
- Escalate risks, manage blockers, and ensure commitments are delivered on time.
- Drive continuous improvement in Agile practices, platform governance, and delivery efficiency.
- Certification in Scrum Master (CSM, PSM) or Product Owner (CSPO, PSPO).
- Background in application sustainment and platform integrations.
- Experience working in large enterprise environments with transformation initiatives.
