Position Title: Project Manager (Remote)

Locations: Remote - Memphis, TN or Irving, TX (Hybrid: 1 day per week in-office Preferred)

Anticipated Start Date: 03/10

Expected Duration: 12 Months

Job Type: Contract to Hire

Pay Rate: $51.00/hr on W2

Need: Bachelor's degree , Minimum six years of relevant experience or equivalent education, including at least two years of general business experience focused on data analysis or project planning. Strong knowledge of project management principles (preferably Waterfall), expertise in BI and DW project management, and proficiency in data analysis with advanced Excel skills.

Job Title: Project Manager - (IT Project Management Specialist Sr)
Location:
  • Preferred: Memphis, TN or Irving, TX (Hybrid: 1 day per week in-office)
  • Open to Remote if necessary
Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage multiple complex projects. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong background in Project Management, particularly within Waterfall methodologies and Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing (BI/DW) environments. This role requires hands-on project execution, effective stakeholder management, and data analysis expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify required resources and conduct in-depth research on project data, procedures, and history to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans through completion, ensuring successful delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Perform data analysis, identifying trends across multiple locations and providing insightful interpretations.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of project data, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress.
  • Collaborate with various functional teams, including IT, business units, and external stakeholders, to facilitate seamless project execution.
  • Communicate project updates, risks, and outcomes effectively through presentations, reports, and status meetings.
  • Assist Program Managers in resolving project-related challenges.
  • Provide training to team members as needed to support knowledge transfer and operational efficiency.
  • Facilitate program transitions and ensure proper documentation of processes and best practices.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Support organizational quality programs and process improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Travel as required.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Administer company policies and staffing procedures.
  • Conduct interviews, hiring, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and implement performance improvement plans for team members.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and motivation to drive optimal performance.
Qualifications:
Education & Licensing:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Quantitative Analysis, or a related field preferred.
  • Courses in Computer Science are a plus.
Experience:
  • Minimum six (6) years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience.
  • At least two (2) years of general business experience with a focus on data analysis or project planning.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles and methodologies (Waterfall experience preferred).
  • Expertise in Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Warehousing (DW) project management.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, with advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data visualization, etc.).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation and documentation abilities.
  • Strong analytical and interpretive skills, with the ability to recognize trends and develop actionable insights.
  • Effective organizational and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other project management tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment:
  • Primarily office-based (remote flexibility available if necessary).
  • Requires clear and conceptual thinking, excellent judgment, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Some travel may be required.
Additional Requirements:
  • Credit security clearance (confirmed via a background credit check) is required for this position.
  • Management retains the discretion to modify job duties as needed.
