The ideal Wealth Strategist is detail-oriented, highly organized, and skilled at providing specialized wealth planning for affluent and high-net-worth clients to help meet their unique needs and objectives.
The ideal Wealth Strategists possesses deep expertise in financial planning, with the ability to navigate intricate client situations and develop sophisticated solutions. They should have strong analytical skills, a strategic wealth mindset, and a client-centric approach to their work, encompassing financial, tax, succession, philanthropic, will, estate and trust planning in connection with clients' complex goals. The best candidates are highly collaborative, working well with both internal teams and external advisors to deliver well-rounded, customized financial plans. They must be adept at building and maintaining relationships, as well as managing the financial complexities faced by affluent clients.
The most successful Wealth Strategists are experts in navigating the complexities of planning-for and living-with significant wealth, and can seamlessly accomplish the following objectives:

- Comprehensive financial planning, including estate, tax, retirement, and business succession planning
- Advanced asset allocation and risk management strategies
- Tax-efficient wealth transfer and gifting strategies
- Charitable giving and philanthropic planning
- Business transition planning for entrepreneurs and family-owned businesses
- Multi-generational wealth planning, ensuring continuity and legacy preservation
- Integration of financial, legal, and tax considerations for complex client portfolios

- Provides customized advice and specialized, often complex, planning expertise to affluent and high-net-worth (HNW) clients.
- Acts as a subject matter expert in area(s) of specialized planning, including regulations and policies, to properly assess and provide insights and solutions to influential private and institutional clients.
- Supporting the growth and retention of affluent and HNW client assets through specialized planning solutions that help to broaden the dialogue and enhance client relationship to consolidate client assets.
- Facilitates/participates in a goals-based discovery process directly with clients and ensures goals relative to data capture and wealth plan creation are met.
- Provides commentary and awareness on emerging trends and new legislation through articles, case laws, and advanced planning solutions.
- Develops content in the area(s) of specialized planning for use as training material, internal resource material and client-facing material.
- Operates at a group-wide level and serves as a specialist resource to Wealth & Asset Management professionals, senior leaders and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA, PhD, JD, etc.) is preferred.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CFP, ChFC, CPA, CFA, CTFA, or similar) are highly desirable.
- Comfortable interacting with individuals of significant wealth
- Trustworthiness and personal integrity that is beyond reproach
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in wealth management, financial planning, or a related field, with a focus on multigenerational wealth planning.
- Proven track record in developing and managing complex wealth transfer strategies.
- In-depth knowledge of estate planning, tax laws, trust structures, and investment strategies.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with high-net-worth clients and their families.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, including with external advisors and professionals.
- Travel: Occasional travel may be required for client meetings and conferences.
- Licensing: Must maintain appropriate financial planning and advisory licenses.
