Job Description
We are seeking a Technician: Engineering Laboratory - II to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in semiconductor or electronics laboratory techniques, instrumentation, and analysis methods and a proven ability to deliver clear failure analysis, communicate findings, and support yield and product improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory analyses including cross-sectioning, delayering, SEM, EDX, X-ray, optical inspection, ion milling, and FIB.
- Document and communicate findings through clear verbal updates and written reports to yield engineers, LYA analysts, and stakeholders.
- Apply basic statistical analysis using tools such as JMP to interpret and summarize data.
- Maintain lab equipment, follow safety and quality procedures, and ensure accurate sample handling and traceability.
- Collaborate in a fast-paced technical environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- AA degree in a technical discipline such as Electronics or Mechanics.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a laboratory environment.
- Hands-on proficiency with X-section, delayering, SEM, EDX, X-ray, optical inspection, ion milling, and FIB.
- Knowledge of basic statistical analysis tools such as JMP.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting and stakeholder updates.
- Ability to collaborate across functions and operate in ambiguous, changing conditions.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in semiconductor yield analysis or lab-based failure analysis.
- Familiarity with electronic materials, device structures, or process flows.
