BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.Expected Duration: 6+ Months and possibility for Extension Job Type: Contract - [FULL TIME (40 Hours a week)]Pay Range: $85.73/hr-$92.48/hrPlease note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). What You'll Do
- Lead Strategic Planning: Drive the annual and quarterly planning process for marketing, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align goals, resourcing, and execution plans.
- Own Cross-Functional Workstreams: Operate at the intersection of brand, demand gen, product marketing, comms, and more - connecting dots, managing dependencies, and ensuring the org is executing against shared priorities.
- Communicate with Clarity: Craft crisp, high-quality communications - from executive updates to team-wide memos. You're equally comfortable drafting a strategic brief or presenting to a VP.
- Manage Projects End-to-End: Take initiatives from zero to one, often in ambiguous environments. You ask the right questions, develop structure where there is none, and execute with discipline.
- Support Budget & Investment Decisions: Work closely with marketing leaders and finance to track budgets, monitor spend and make investment decisions that align with evolving business needs.
- Run Global Operations: Coordinate across regional teams, lead global standups, and ensure alignment across markets - keeping cultural nuances and time zones in mind.
- Balance Today & Tomorrow: Make sense of existing business needs while building frameworks to support future growth and marketing evolution
- 8+ years of experience in marketing, operations, or strategy roles. Prior experience in SaaS enterprise businesses; background in Big Tech a strong plus
- Deep understanding of how marketing functions operate and interconnect in a global org
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - you write with clarity and purpose. Strong executive presence and stakeholder management skills (Director, VP+)
- Proven track record of launching and managing complex cross-functional projects.
- Comfort operating independently in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Project management excellence and strong organizational instincts
- Familiarity with marketing budgets and business planning processes
