This role focuses on troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of mechanical systems, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in Fin Fan units and their operational nuances. Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostics and corrective maintenance on various pump types (sump, centrifugal, submersible) and motor systems.
- Conduct scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance aligned with global standards for critical AHUs and mechanical systems.
- Disassemble fan guards and housings for bearing inspections and IR scans on fan terminals to detect early signs of failure.
- Apply run-to-fail (R2F) strategies where appropriate, while ensuring scheduled testing and visual inspections are completed.
- Maintain detailed service records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure reliability and risk mitigation.
- Respond to system alerts and failures with urgency and precision, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with pumps, motors, and Fin Fan systems in critical environments.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, vibration analysis, and thermal scanning techniques.
- Familiarity with maintenance task codes, warranty protocols, and local regulatory compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently under pressure.
- Completion of relevant technical certifications or manufacturer training preferred.
- Required: All candidates must hold an OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E Certification

Role Overview
The Senior Critical Environment Technician will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems in mission-critical environments. This role requires deep expertise in a range of HVAC equipment, including adiabatic air handlers, CDUs, split systems, VAVs, fan power boxes, exhaust fans, and CRACs. The technician will ensure optimal performance, reliability, and compliance with safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems, including:
- Adiabatic air handlers and evaporative cooling units.
- Cooling distribution units (CDUs) and cycling pumps.
- Split systems, VAVs, fan power boxes, and exhaust fans.
- Computer Room Air Conditioners (CRACs) and Computer Air Handler Units (CAHUs).
- Conduct equipment inspections, condition assessments, and performance diagnostics using Building Automation Systems (BAS).
- Document maintenance activities and system performance in CMMS and change management systems.
- Collaborate with CE Managers and site teams to ensure HVAC systems meet operational and safety standards.
- Support interview and hiring processes for technician roles as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience with HVAC systems in critical environments such as in data center operations or other high-availability infrastructure environments
- Familiarity with adiabatic cooling, evaporative media, airflow path management, and mechanical redundancy principles.
- Certification in mechanical systems is a plus.
- Strong understanding of mechanical diagnostics, fluid dynamics, and heat exchange principles.
- Ability to work independently and escalate issues appropriately.

The Senior Critical Environment Technician will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of centrifugal chiller systems in mission-critical environments. This role requires deep expertise in Trane chillers and a strong understanding of mechanical systems, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on centrifugal chillers, with emphasis on Trane systems.
- Conduct eddy current testing on condenser and evaporator tubes as part of biennial/triennial maintenance routines.
- Monitor evaporator approach temperatures, refrigerant levels, and system performance using integrated control panels.
- Document irregularities and escalate issues per global maintenance standards.
- Collaborate with CE Managers and site teams to ensure chiller systems meet operational and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records in CMMS and change management systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience with centrifugal chillers, including Trane systems.
- Familiarity with variable speed drives (VSD/VFD) and associated maintenance procedures.
- Certification in mechanical systems is a plus.
- Strong understanding of mechanical diagnostics, fluid dynamics, and heat exchange principles.
- Experience in data center operations or other critical infrastructure environments.
- Ability to work independently and escalate issues appropriately.
- Required: All candidates must hold an OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E Certification

Job Description:
Role Summary
The Senior Critical Environment Technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing diesel generator systems, with a strong preference for experience with Cummins equipment. This role is critical to ensuring uninterrupted power supply and operational continuity across data center and critical infrastructure environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs on diesel generators, including high-horsepower units (500 kW+).
- Conduct monthly inspections per internal standards, including oil and coolant level checks, leak detection, battery inspection, and HMI alarm reviews.
- Troubleshoot generator issues using OEM diagnostics and escalate unresolved problems.
- Maintain accurate documentation of generator running hours, error messages, and maintenance actions.
- Collaborate with CE Managers and Site Engineers to ensure generator systems meet operational standards.
- Support fuel delivery verification, spill kit staging, and invoice reconciliation as part of CEQ Level 1 training protocols.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience with diesel generators, preferably Cummins.
- Familiarity with generator controls, including PLCs, switchgear, and automated systems.
- Certifications in electrical power systems is a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and escalate issues appropriately.
- Experience working in critical environments such as data centers or industrial facilities.
