Job Description

We are seeking a CE Facility Support Engineer - Electrical to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in electrical systems within high-availability and critical environments and a proven ability to execute preventive maintenance, follow SOPs, and support safe, reliable operations.

Responsibilities:

• Complete all tasks aligned to CE Tech Level 1 responsibilities.
• Perform daily operational readings and rounds on electrical equipment, including temperatures, voltages, and currents.
• Follow SOPs for critical environment planned work activities.
• Energize cabinets in colocation environments in accordance with procedures.
• Execute UPS preventive maintenance on quarterly and annual cycles.
• Perform system control panel preventive maintenance.
• Conduct battery preventive maintenance.
• Assist with troubleshooting, repair, replacement, and calibration of instrument sensors.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and comply with physical security policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with electrical systems in high-availability or critical infrastructure environments such as data centers, oil and gas refineries, hospitals, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing facilities.
• Fundamental understanding of the National Electrical Code.
• OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E Certification.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of work or applied learning experience in technical fields such as automotive, electrical, controls, or data center operations.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including 12-hour shifts, rotating shifts, and variable work weeks.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Preferred Skills:

• Previous data center experience.
• Qualified Electrical Worker designation.
