Position Title: Inserting Operator

Location: Getzville, NY 14068

Expected Duration: 3+ months.

Estimated Start Date: 5/27/2024

Pay Rate: $18/hr on W2

Position Purpose:

• Operate and maintain an inserter to produce mail pieces and prepare mailing for the Post Office.
• Inspect pieces during production and make adjustments to keep machines running.

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year experience working in a mail production facility operating a mechanical inserter.
• Experience with USPS postal regulations strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Produce mail-pieces using automated inserting technology.
• Operate folding machines, cutter and bindery equipment.
• Operate machines that insert printed matter, such as letters or booklets into envelopes.
• Maintain equipment using provided maintenance schedule.
• Maintain optimal level of productivity.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for a long period of time.
