Job Description

We are seeking a Data Program Manager to lead a strategic, complex, and cross-functional initiative for a Deloitte project team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in technical program management and data-focused delivery and a proven ability to translate objectives into actionable plans, manage dependencies, and drive execution across Engineering, Analytics, and Compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Translate high-level objectives into a clear program charter and detailed Work Breakdown Structure.
• Define and manage scope and complex dependencies; build and execute phased roadmaps.
• Lead capacity planning and resource management; identify and address resource gaps.
• Monitor progress, risks, and issues across technical, operational, financial, and resourcing dimensions; implement mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate cross-functional decision-making, prioritization, and change management.
• Coordinate stakeholder communication and collaboration; deliver frequent, clear status reports highlighting progress and impediments.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations; oversee knowledge transfer and documentation through closure.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Advanced Technical Project Manager skills with 6-9 years of experience leading large-scale, cross-functional data or technical programs.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira or Wrike, including automation and API integrations.
• Strong analytical skills for capacity planning, dependency management, and risk assessment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with experience providing executive-level status reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead through influence in complex environments and drive cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with change management for large-scale organizational initiatives.
• Familiarity with financial tracking and budget impact analysis within technical programs.

Preferred Skills:

• Background as a Data Project Manager delivering data platforms, analytics, or compliance-focused solutions.
• Experience in highly regulated or enterprise environments with complex stakeholder landscapes.
