BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Technician in Andover MA 01810.

Position Title: Mechanical Technician

Location: Andover MA 01810

Anticipated Start Date: Tentative start Date 05/16/2024

Expected Duration: 02 years Contract with a strong possibility of extension

Job Type: Contract (40 HRS WEEKLY), [CONTRACT], [ONSITE]

Pay Range: $18/hr - $19/hr
Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Requirements:
Motor Skills, Testing, Instrument Testing, Equipment repair.

Job Description:

• Reads/ interprets schematics, printouts, and Specifications as needed to complete tests to determine the functionality of the function area.
• Ensures testing instruments are calibrated and verified on a regular basis.
• Participates in debugging and troubleshooting of new and existing procedures, equipment, products, etc.
• Creates new test programs/ procedures as needed for new technology.

Education and Experience:

• Typically an Associate degree or equivalent experience and 6PLUS years of experience.
• May include highly experienced individuals performing higher level or equivalent work who are non degreed or degreed in an unrelated field.
