Provider Data Management Analyst 1
Position Title: Provider Data Management Analyst 1 (Remote)Locations: Remote - NC
Anticipated Start Date: 02/17
Expected Duration: 3 months
Job Type: Contract with possible extension
Timings: 9AM - 6PM, No OT req'd/mandatory
Pay Rate: $15.38/hr. on W2.
Need: Previous data entry experience and healthcare background
Job Description:
The role involves performing data management tasks related to provider information, ensuring compliance with plan and contract specifications, as well as standard business practices. Responsibilities include data analysis, entry, and review through various internet platforms and internal systems. The position requires the use of multiple systems to validate and ensure the accuracy and completeness of provider data.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, with 1+ years of experience in data entry, analysis, or customer service, preferably within healthcare operations (e.g., claims processing, billing, provider relations, or contracting), provider data management, or credentialing in managed care, insurance, or medical office settings.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools like Excel or similar software is highly desirable.
- Inputting detailed information related to provider contracts and associated fee schedules into the system. This involves ensuring accuracy in data entry to maintain proper billing, reimbursement, and contract adherence.
- Reviewing contracts to verify that the correct fee schedule information is used and making necessary adjustments when discrepancies are found.
- Consistently checking for errors in data entry and maintaining up-to-date records.
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure any changes in contracts or fee schedules are promptly entered into the system.

Contract Data Management:
- This role supports the organization's contract management system by entering provider information and fee schedules, ensuring that all data entered is accurate, current, and in line with organizational standards.
- Regularly works on updating contract details and working with other departments (like finance and billing) to ensure the correct contract terms are being applied for reimbursement purposes.
- Production Rate: Must meet a production target, which is calculated at the end of the month (EOM). A 95% production rate means that 95% of the expected volume of data entry or contract processing should be completed by the employee.
- Audits: The employee will undergo weekly audits (3 times per week), where their work will be reviewed for accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Quality Metrics: These will also be reviewed at the end of the month (EOM) and will contribute to performance evaluations. Employees must maintain high-quality data entry, with audits being a key part of the assessment.
- As quality is assessed based on audit results, maintaining a high level of accuracy in data entry and adhering to company policies for processing contracts and fee schedules is essential.
