Agile Business Analyst

BCforward i seeking an Agile Business Analyst for Indianapolis

The Agile Business Analyst (ABA) works with the Product Owner and other stakeholders to define and communicate product vision and requirements to the product development team(s). The ABA will collaborate and assist the Scrum Master in the management of the Product Backlog and fully participate in all sprint planning meetings and daily stand-ups. The ABA ensures that the requirements are clear and complete, makes adjustments in line with overall business value and ultimately accepts or rejects the software development work.

* Collaborate and assist with Product Manager with the product backlog
* Executes responsibilities with an understanding of the product vision, strategic objectives, and priorities
* Prioritizes stories in the product backlog for a specific team, according to business value
* Translate high-level strategy & product direction into features, epics and user stories; prioritize in the product backlog for selection for sprint backlog
* Be the primary interface to the Scrum Team and is responsible to provide team with user stories and help the team define the business driven test cases
* Prioritize the backlog according to business value and stakeholder input
* Identify product release content and timeline
* Convey and document the vision and goal at the beginning of every release and sprint to development teams
* Represent the stakeholders, end users and customers to the team, answers questions, and provides direction
* Assist with the elaboration of the user stories and requirements
* Participate in the planning meetings, reviews (demo) and retrospective meetings
* Coordinate with other Agile Product Owners to coordinate release planning for cross-product initiatives.
* Participates in the creation of low or high fidelity prototypes
* Is subject matter expert (SME) in specific functional area(s) for assigned Scrum team
* Is the primary interface to the Scrum Team and is responsible to provide team with user stories and help the team define the business driven test cases
* Accepts or rejects product development results from a team
* Identifies and prepares materials for and, as needed, delivers internal training for new features
* Escalate issues to management as appropriate and in a timely fashion.
* Acquire and apply knowledge of the business and of overarching standards that apply to the project scope
* Acquire and maintain knowledge of current regulatory and industry standards for procedure writing
* Maintain integrity of the User Stories/Requirements at all levels throughout the project
* Communicate effectively with team members and others groups to ensure consistent and complete documentation
* Drive team meetings and discussions to decisions in order to move project forward
Required Skills: HP ALM, Jira, Microsoft Office Pro, Excellent written and oral communication skills.
