Fraud Analyst/Customer Service Representative

Role: Fraud Analyst

Location: Brea, CA 92823

Expected Duration: 5 Months Contract


Resource is required to be on the assignment for the required hours as specified in the job description. Forty hours per week is the expectation in the absence of specified hours. Attendance and punctuality are essential components of the position; therefore, unexcused absences and tardiness could result in dismissal. Fraud Analyst II reviews potential fraudulent accounts for the prevention and detection of possible Transaction Fraud and Identity Theft. The incumbent will take appropriate action based on transaction characteristics and account changes with indicators of complex issues related to possible Identity Theft. Experience is gained through training, following established procedures and guidelines and research utilizing multiple systems and tools. Responsible for moderately complex research and analysis of account activity to assess levels of risk and fraud type. Takes appropriate corrective action through customer phone contact to verify legitimate usage. Provides review and analysis of risky or exception conditions. Typically reports to Fraud Detection/Prevention Supervisor; 2-4 years experience.
