Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on Functional Analyst to join our dynamic team on a high-visibility GenAI program focused on document summarization and chatbot capabilities across multiple lines of business. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in business analysis, GenAI solution design, Python and SQL and a proven ability to translate business strategy into actionable functional requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain business requirements, both functional and technical, in partnership with stakeholders and obtain sign-off.
• Develop functional solutions, conduct FSD walk-throughs, and secure approvals.
• Serve as SME to identify product development opportunities and guide design deep dives.
• Partner with developers to ensure accurate understanding of requirements and own end-to-end functional delivery.
• Define testing requirements with QA and support UAT to confirm acceptance and sign-off.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with business and project management teams to ensure alignment with objectives.
• Operate within program governance, escalating issues and risks as appropriate.
• Contribute to roadmap design and development to ensure measurable business value per phase.
• Ensure delivery meets product specifications and is properly documented.
• Coordinate with data sourcing to validate data completeness from acquisition through reporting.
• Design effective prompts for large language models to address complex queries and support GenAI workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in IS/IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of IT experience with 3+ years as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst.
• At least 1 year executing end-to-end GenAI projects, including LLMs, embedding models, and vector databases.
• Ability to design effective prompts for LLMs to support complex business questions.
• Working knowledge of Python and SQL in a delivery-focused, techno-functional capacity.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and risk awareness.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and translate needs into technical requirements.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and practical solution design adopted by delivery teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to build GenAI POCs using Python and Streamlit.
• Experience working across multiple business groups within CFO or finance-related domains.
