BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Data Modeller

Position Title: Data Modeller

Location: Remote

Anticipated Start Date: 11/07/2025

Expected Duration: 6+ months

Job Type: Contract - Onsite

Pay Range: $60/hr - $70/hr

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job

responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem,

etc.).

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to lead the refreshing and updating of us

Supplier Code of Conduct. This role is crucial in ensuring our suppliers adhere to our high standards of ethical

conduct, compliance, and sustainability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project

management, familiarity with supply chain practices, and an understanding of ethical compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities (Supplier Code of Conduct):

• Data Modeler - ETL Development & Leadership: Architect, develop, and optimise sophisticated ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter and IICS to manage data extraction, transformation, and loading from diverse sources into Amazon Redshift and other platforms.
• Cloud Data Integration: Lead implementation of data integration solutions using IICS to connect on-premises and cloud-based systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and seamless data flow.
• Data Modelling: Design and maintain advanced logical and physical data models to support enterprise-level data warehousing, analytics, and reporting needs, ensuring performance and scalability.
• Data Warehousing: Spearhead development and optimization of Amazon Redshift data structures, including schema design, indexing, partitioning, and query performance tuning for large-scale datasets.
• Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth data profiling, cleansing, and analysis to uncover trends, anomalies, and actionable insights, delivering high-impact reports and dashboards to stakeholders
• Performance Optimization: Proactively monitor and optimize ETL processes, Redshift queries, and data pipelines to ensure high performance, cost efficiency, and reliability.
• Collaboration & Leadership: Partner with business analysts, data scientists, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and mentor junior team members.
• Data Governance: Enforce data quality, consistency, and integrity through robust validation, error handling, and governance practices.
• Documentation & Best Practices: Maintain comprehensive documentation of ETL processes, data models, workflows, and configurations while promoting best practices in data engineering.

Required Qualifications:

Experience:

• 10-15 years of hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter for designing and implementing complex ETL workflows.
• 5+ years of experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) for cloud-based data integration and orchestration.
• Extensive experience (8+ years) in data modelling (conceptual, logical, and physical) for data warehousing and analytics solutions.
• 7+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, performing advanced data profiling, analysis, and reporting to support business decision-making.
