BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Software Development Engineer for remote opportunity.

Position Title: Project Manager Non Tech 2

Location: Remote

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Expected Duration: 5 Months

Job Type: CONTRACT

Pay Range: $49/hr on W2

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

1.Azure DevOps (Minimum 2 years): Must be able to navigate and support workflow/process development in Azure DevOps, though not at an engineering level.

2.Microsoft Office Suite (Minimum 2 years): Proficiency in Word, Excel, OneNote, and related tools for documentation and communication.

3.Project Management/Process Development (Minimum 2 years): Experience in developing, documenting, and managing processes, including stakeholder engagement and triage of communications.

Summary:

Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical and nontechnical activities. Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to stakeholders.

Maintain Standard Operating Procedure and build frequently asked questions

Support human rights programs and projects. Manage and safeguard confidential and sensitive information, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.

Triage and respond to communications and sensitive information in a timely and professional manner.

Set up, configure, and work within an Azure DevOps (ADO) project environment to manage project tracking, work items, dashboards, repositories, and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

Proficiency with Azure DevOps (ADO), including the ability to independently set up, configure, and manage project environments, work items, dashboards, and repositories.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

Ability to triage, prioritize, and respond appropriately to sensitive employee communications or information.

Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time effectively.

Basic knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning and resource allocation.

Proficiency with computer software such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio.

Required Skills & Experience:

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required; PMP or similar certification is not required but is a nice-to-have.
