Bcforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Security Technologist 1 for an opportunity at Redmond, WA.

Pay Range $35- $39/hr

Summary:

• A Tier 1 Analyst is being added to the security team to support a gaming studio. This role serves as the front line for all IAM/Security support tickets. Ideal candidates thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy reducing operational noise, and excel at creating structured processes.

  Responsibilities:

• Manage intake and triage for IAM/Security tickets, ensuring completeness, validating/requesting approvals, and routing tickets appropriately.
• Execute Tier 1 IAM tasks, such as standard onboarding and offboarding procedures.
• Maintain and update security processes and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Enhance the intake pipeline by collaborating with partner teams to implement automation for common tasks.

  Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree (4-year)
• 2-4 years of experience in Service Desk/Helpdesk, IAM operations, or ITSM triage within high ticket volume environments
• Working knowledge of Jira Service Management (JSM) and ITIL-style workflows
• Hands-on experience with Entra ID/Azure AD, AD groups, RBAC concepts, and identity lifecycle
• Strong communication skills with the ability to pursue approvals, clarify business justifications, and guide requestors in ticket resubmission
• Detail-oriented with a preference for transforming disorganized intake into actionable work

Preferred:

• Exposure to Identity Governance concepts and PIM/MFA workflows
• Experience with automation in the intake pipeline, including JSM automations, Azure Logic Apps, or runbooks
• Scripting experience in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation purposes
