Job Description

We are seeking a SAP Developer Contractor to join our dynamic team supporting a Deloitte project. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SAP ABAP, RAP, and UI5/Fiori and a proven ability to design, develop, integrate, and optimize SAP S/4 solutions that meet business-critical needs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and customize SAP applications using ABAP, RAP, and related SAP development tools.
• Build and enhance SAP Fiori/UI5 applications and extensions.
• Integrate SAP S/4 with external and internal systems to ensure reliable data flow and functionality.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, technical specifications, and code comments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and integration issues across environments.
• Review functional requirements and translate them into clear technical specifications.
• Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders in Agile ceremonies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Expert-level SAP ABAP with 10+ years of experience, including RAP and OData services.
• Hands-on SAP Fiori/UI5 development for S/4HANA.
• Experience with software design, development, testing, debugging, and CI/CD practices.
• Proven integration experience designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining system interfaces.
• Ability to review functional requirements and convert them into technical designs and specifications.
• Agile experience with Scrum or Kanban and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and effective collaboration in virtual teams.
• US Citizenship required due to access and client requirements.

Preferred Skills:

• Product Sourcing, Quotation Management, and related interfaces.
• Experience with RAP and CAP for cloud-ready application development.
• SAP BTP Integration Suite and API Management, including API Hub.
• SAP Solution Manager, Focused Build, and ChaRM.
• GitLab or GitHub for source control and CI/CD pipelines.

• Project stage: Sold/Funded.
• Expenses: Permitted.
• Max vendor rate: $120/hour inclusive of supplier mark-up.
