The ideal candidate will have experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical assemblies and testing, and the ability to diagnose failures and recommend rework to meet performance requirements.Shift Details and Training
- Assigned Shift: 2nd shift, 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm. 10% shift differential begins on day one.
- Training: May occur on 1st shift (6:00 am - 2:30 pm) or 3rd shift (10:30 pm - 6:00 am) based on operational need. Post-training, you will move to your assigned shift.
- Perform assembly operations on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical valves, actuators, and systems using electrical and mechanical measuring instruments, assembly tools, cleaning devices, specialized fixtures, gauging, and torque mechanisms.
- Work from drawings, worksheets, work instructions, and parts lists. Document performance results and situational findings in writing.
- Set up and perform operational tests of finished products on high precision test stands using hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic test equipment and tools to verify performance to specification.
- Diagnose test failures, assess hardware condition, and recommend rework instructions or configuration changes. Perform troubleshooting and limited repairs on units that do not meet test requirements, including work that runs with production units.
- Perform set-ups including AMPS and 151 stages per defined procedures. Conduct some testing as required.
- Execute daily administrative tasks that support operations and data collection. Contribute to a cooperative, productive team environment.
- High School diploma or GED preferred. Otherwise, demonstrated ability to follow verbal, written, and computer-based work instructions in English, and ability to perform basic arithmetic.
- At least 3 years of experience in a related technical field, preferably in aerospace, precision manufacturing, or similar environments.
- Proficiency with mechanical and electronic measurement equipment, torque tools, fixtures, and gauging.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and parts lists, and to produce clear written documentation of results.
- Experience performing assembly and test operations on hydraulic and pneumatic components and systems.
- Enrollment and participation in the company's F.A.A. Drug & Alcohol Program due to Safety Sensitive Work requirements.
- Background in commercial aircraft systems assembly and testing.
- Experience with diagnostic rework, troubleshooting, and configuration adjustments in production settings.
