Job Description

We are seeking a Microsoft Teams Collaboration Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Webex-to-Microsoft Teams migrations, Teams administration, video/meeting room device integration, and call quality monitoring and a proven ability to plan and execute end-to-end migration programs while maintaining Cisco room hardware and improving meeting quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Webex to Microsoft Teams migration, including discovery, planning, pilot, cutover, and post-migration support.
  • Administer Microsoft Teams policies and settings, including meeting policies, audio conferencing and voice policies, and device provisioning.
  • Integrate video and meeting room devices while retaining Cisco hardware using CVI and MTR solutions.
  • Configure and manage resources, room accounts, and device profiles for consistent user experiences.
  • Set up and analyze Microsoft Call Quality Dashboard (CQD) and related telemetry to drive improvements.
  • Perform meeting and call log analysis to troubleshoot quality, reliability, and interoperability issues.
  • Collaborate with networking teams to interpret quality data and optimize network paths, QoS, and policies.
  • Develop automation and integrations using Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft Graph/Teams APIs.
  • Document architectures, standards, and runbooks to enable sustainable operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Hands-on Microsoft Teams administration, including meeting and voice policies, audio conferencing, and device provisioning.
  • Proven experience executing a Webex-to-Teams migration in an enterprise environment.
  • Expertise with CVI and Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) for Cisco room hardware integration.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Call Quality Dashboard (CQD), meeting log analysis, and remediation activities.
  • Strong networking fundamentals, including QoS for real-time media, DNS, SBCs, and troubleshooting of latency, jitter, and packet loss.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft Graph or Teams APIs for automation and integration.
  • Clear documentation and communication skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience level: 5+ years in unified communications or collaboration engineering roles.

Preferred Skills:

  • Microsoft Teams Collaboration or related Microsoft certifications.
  • Experience with Agile delivery and enterprise change management.
