Job Description
We are seeking a CE Facility Support Engineer - Electrical to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in datacenter electrical infrastructure, building management systems, and high-availability power systems and a proven ability to execute planned shutdowns, testing, and maintenance while sustaining critical loads.
Night Shift hours A: 12-hrs (Sun-Wed) & (Sun-Tue)
Responsibilities:
- Perform all tasks listed in the CE Tech Level 1 and Level 2 role descriptions.
- Support electrical infrastructure across single large-capacity and multi-facility datacenter campuses.
- Operate and monitor building management systems, including EPMS.
- Execute Remote Power Panel (RPP) shutdowns of one source while maintaining critical load on remaining source (N).
- Perform PDU shutdowns for power meter replacement with documented procedures.
- Conduct Power Interruption Testing (PIT) and capture results.
- Complete master controller shutdowns or replacements per change management.
- Apply a fundamental understanding of the National Electrical Code in daily work.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience with electrical systems in high availability environments such as data centers, refineries, hospitals, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing.
- Working knowledge of EPMS, RPPs, PDUs, and master controllers.
- Fundamental understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E Certification.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of work or applied learning experience in relevant technical fields such as automotive, electrical, controls, or data center.
- Able to work a flexible schedule including 12-hour or rotating shifts across 3, 4, or 5 day work weeks.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Preferred Skills:
- Qualified Electrical Worker designation.
- Previous datacenter experience.
