This role may also involve researching and assessing market and business opportunities.

The Community Relations Specialist is responsible for leading activities to achieve membership and enrollment goals through a variety of initiatives, including marketing projects, new market development, health fairs, community events, member retention activities, sales visibility, broker and provider engagement, lead generation, vendor outreach, and networking opportunities. This role may also involve researching and assessing market and business opportunities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, coordinate, collaborate, and conduct events such as meetings, presentations, trainings, product orientations, focus groups, field marketing events, and other projects.
- Develop and maintain business relationships that create opportunities to increase membership and meet enrollment targets.
- Represent the department at internal and external meetings, including vendor, departmental, cross-functional, community, and provider meetings.
- Create and deliver presentations for sales, broker product training, member retention meetings, new member orientation, and outreach activities.
- Serve as a department liaison for market materials, collateral rollouts, inventory management, and reporting.
- Act as the point person for key projects and assist management in developing departmental workflows, policies, and procedures related to strategy, planning, product review, collateral development, and sales strategies.
- Identify and initiate opportunities for field marketing events, grassroots lead generation, provider co-op events, and other community-based venues, coordinating with the sales team for successful execution.
- Develop plans to increase crossover enrollment and assist in outreach activities as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience.
