Job Description

We are seeking a Backend Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in advanced Java, AWS, microservices, event-driven architecture with Kafka, and relational/non-relational databases and a proven ability to design, build, and optimize scalable backend services.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using advanced Java and microservices patterns.
• Build event-driven integrations and streaming pipelines using Kafka.
• Develop and optimize data access layers for Oracle, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB.
• Deploy, monitor, and scale services on AWS with a focus on reliability and security.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Advanced proficiency in Java for backend development.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services for building and operating microservices.
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with event-driven architecture and Kafka.
• Database expertise with Oracle, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB, including schema design and query optimization.
• 7+ years of experience in backend or related software engineering roles.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools on AWS.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery practices.
