BCForward is looking for Claims Processor - 100% Remote

Position Title: Claims Processor

Location: Remote

Duration: 5 Months of contract (Potential Extension)

Target Start Date: October 20, 2025

Pay Rate: $16.67/hr on W2

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM EST (30-minute lunch)
Training Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST (1-hour lunch)

Job Description

To process claims and determine benefits due under credit card or other financial program benefit plans; ensure timely payments and adjustments for specified program claims; and deliver exceptional customer service.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process first party property claims according to client-specific program coverage.
• Make coverage determinations based on claim investigation and evaluation.
• Adjudicate settlements or denials within designated authority limits.
• Manage a high volume of claims, phone calls, and correspondence while maintaining accurate claim documentation.
• Meet quality, production goals, and adhere to customer guidelines and deadlines.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Support the organization's quality assurance programs.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of general office experience with claim processing in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Claims industry experience preferred.
• Must be able to make quick decisions and work efficiently under pressure.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Knowledge of first party property and casualty claim processing.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation ability.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and general PC literacy.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance standards.
