Job Description

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative - Insurance Benefits to join our team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in French and English and will deliver accurate, timely assistance to insurance customers while maintaining performance standards in a KPI-driven environment. The role will operate locally remote from home and requires availability for a shift between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to inbound calls, chats, and tickets per client parameters.
  • Develop product and service knowledge and convey information clearly to customers.
  • Engage in active listening, confirm or clarify details, and defuse escalated situations.
  • Document inquiries, complaints, and resolution actions in a clear, comprehensible manner.
  • Maintain established KPI performance levels and service quality standards.
  • Identify customer needs and provide accurate solutions and alternatives.
  • Resolve compliance matters in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Support team objectives and contribute to a positive team environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Fluency in French and English, both verbal and written.
  • Previous customer service or call center experience supporting insurance programs.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong communication, empathy, and active listening skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
  • Clear, concise writing for customer documentation and case notes.
  • Demonstrated commitment to superior customer service and professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently with sound judgment and critical thinking.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience.
Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in KPI-driven service environments with ticketing and chat platforms.
  • Background in compliance procedures within insurance benefits support.
