Job Description
We are seeking a CE Facility Support Engineer - Mechanical to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in critical facility mechanical systems, electrical systems, and building management platforms and a proven ability to execute methods of procedure and maintain uptime in high-availability environments.
Day Shift B: 12-hrs (Thu through Sat) & every other Wednesday
Responsibilities:
- Perform and document chiller Methods of Procedure (MOPs) when systems operate at N level of redundancy.
- Execute chilled water pump MOPs at N redundancy while mitigating risk and maintaining availability.
- Carry out computer-room air handler (CRAH) MOPs at N redundancy and validate system performance.
- Monitor and operate building and electrical power monitoring systems (BMS/EPMS) and respond to alarms.
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance for mechanical and electrical equipment in critical spaces.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to schedule work, perform lockout/tagout, and restore systems.
- Maintain accurate logs, shift reports, and MOP/SOP/EOP documentation.
- Support incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement actions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience with electrical systems in high-availability or critical infrastructure environments such as data centers, refineries, hospitals, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing.
- Proficiency executing MOPs for chillers, chilled water pumps, and CRAH units at N redundancy.
- Familiarity with building management systems and electrical power monitoring systems (BMS/EPMS).
- OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E Certification.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of work or applied learning experience in technical fields such as automotive, electrical, controls, or data center.
- Able to work a flexible schedule including 12-hour shifts and rotating shifts across 3, 4, or 5 day work weeks.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Preferred Skills:
- EPA Refrigerant License.
- Experience with Energy/Power Monitoring Systems and advanced BMS analytics.
