Production Planning Associate

BCforward is currently seeking a Production Planning Associate for a large pharmaceutical company located in Branchburg, NJ.

Duration: Long Term

Description:

  • Represents the work group to Senior Leadership and Clinical Teams by communication of progress against goals.
  • Converts Clinical demand into supply requirements for Clinical trials and communicates Clinical demand to supporting manufacturing groups.
  • Tactically runs the day-to-day packaging, labeling, and distribution activities for global clinical trials to achieve planned start dates and study milestones.
  • Maintains supply/demand tools, plans/executes necessary packaging campaigns and inventory movement to maintain adequate depot, vendor management, supports clinical supplies initiatives, IVRS development and management, attends/leads required meetings to communicate milestones and challenges that are facing current and upcoming projects, comparator sourcing, trains.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Manage SAP control of production schedule via process orders (convert, create, release)
  • Support SAP set-up for new production processes.
  • Monitor and maintain virtual areas in SAP.
  • Monitor, account and report on any non-routine material usages.
  • Assist shop floor personnel with SAP issues (i.e., in-line, overages, under and any other key components)
  • Manage batch records flow to ensure 100% availability to shop floor personnel.
  • Manage flow of completed Batch Records to Quality.
  • Review manufacturing tickets versus goods movement reports. Report and aid in resolving any significant errors.
  • Support SOPs revisions related to operations planning activities.

Skills Required:

  • Must reflect on resume: Must test on Word AND Excel in Assess/ProveIt and pass.
  • Must have HS Diploma or equivalent and 1+ years' experience in either production planning OR cGMP environment.
  • Previous production planning experience.
  • Familiarity with SAP process order maintenance

Functional expertise within some and/or all following areas:

  • SAP
  • Regulus
  • TrackWise
  • Microsoft Office (Excel; Word)
  • Good analytical skills to deal with unexpected issues
  • Extreme accuracy and attention to detail is necessary.
  • Ability to work independently, and on multiple concurrent project initiatives is necessary.
  • Must be a team player, self-motivated and collaborate ideas and solutions effectively with management and colleagues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for this position.
