Position Title: Warehouse Technician

Expected Duration: 10+ Months of contract with possible extension

Pay Range: $17.00 - $20.50/hr.

Job Description:

This position will be based at the Hermiston R&D Center in Hermiston, Oregon. The Assistant will engage in various routine tasks related to spring warehouse seed management activities.

Responsibilities:

Perform a wide range of activities independently or collaboratively.

Follow designated protocols for spring warehouse activities, including:

Receiving, treating, splitting, and organizing seed corn.

Managing inventory and supporting general facility operations.

Conduct basic clean-up and organization of supplies as required.

Execute additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications:

Ability to perform tasks with a high level of accuracy.

Physical capability to frequently lift and move seed and other supplies (able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed).

Forklift operation experience is preferred but not required.

Detail-oriented and committed to contributing as a team member.

Special Equipment Required: Steel-toed boots
