Job Description
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative - Administrative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with customer order management, invoicing, and Microsoft Office, and a proven ability to resolve customer inquiries and maintain accurate records to support account management and retention.
Responsibilities:
- Answer inbound telephone inquiries and provide professional customer support.
- Promote organization products and services as appropriate.
- Communicate with customers regarding orders and financial account management.
- Generate, enter, and process customer orders and invoices with accuracy.
- Research and resolve customer complaints to support retention and satisfaction.
- Perform work within a defined customer segment, geography, or product line.
- Demonstrate teamwork, effective follow-up, and attention to detail.
- Operate with some supervision while meeting quality and service expectations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook. Ability to create, edit, and enter data accurately.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with clear telephone etiquette and good listening skills.
- Self-starter with basic problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to clarify issues and follow through.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
- Customer-friendly, professional, and courteous demeanor. Team-oriented.
- Knowledge of fundamental business concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous administrative or customer service experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with order entry, invoicing, and account management processes.
- Familiarity with enterprise systems or CRM tools.
