Digital Marketing Lead-Professional
BCforward is looking for a motivated Digital Marketing Lead for a REMOTE opportunity.
Job Title: Digital Marketing Lead
Location: REMOTE
Payrate: $48/hr
Job type: 15- 26 hours per week
Job Description:
This role will focus on enabling Agronomy experts to create impactful video content for grower segments where we are currently underrepresented. The position will provide training and best practices for content creation, along with editing video sent in to best meet digital platform strategies. Key responsibilities include coordinating digital experiences, improving content through training, managing a content calendar, and video editing. This resource will serve as a centralized hub for guidance and support, streamlining the content creation process.
Duty or Area of Responsibility
Content Editing & Execution
• Creative concepting and development against aligned pillars and social activations outlined within a set plan.
• Edit video content to fit the platform strategies laid out by Central Marketing (i.e. YouTube, SnapChat, etc.)
• Publish/Post approved content across various platforms. Confirm KPIs are in place for measurement.
• Attached searchable metadata to make 'findable' upon search
• Participate in Answer Plot Live events - filming content
• Subject matter expert with editing, familiar with audio, captions, potentially color grading and splicing content into different outputs tailored to target platforms
• Proficient in advanced software and able to provide own software needed to complete work
Training
• Provide training on best practices, content improvement & approach
• Provide feedback on improvements for Content creators to make
• Bring new ideas to team on digital learning or engagement
• Share optimization opportunities back to content team and develop ongoing performance narrative to report/train on.
• Own creation of training and standardization platform to cater to a wide range of professionals, both comfortable and uncomfortable with the technology and content needed to relate to target audience
Project & Timeline Management
• Partner with regional hubs and national account on planned content - how that aligns with identified big rocks
• Stakeholder alignment (internal and external): content and creative review against business objectives, guidelines, and organized content plan and timelines.
Digital Experience Coordination
• Highly skilled with expedited turnaround times during in-season timeframe to ensure relevancy of content
• Service Level Agreement to respond back to content creator within one business day and turn around in-season content in 2 business days
• Spot check and monitor functionality and tracking.
• Measure performance against KPIs and review for real-time optimization opportunities.
Required Experience/Knowledge/Skills (to be able to perform this job): Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Communications, Media, Marketing or related field. Strong editing skills. Ability to plan, execute and obtain digital content from live events. Good communication & education skills. Creative & adaptable to service many different needs with peaks & trough timing.
Preferred: 2+ years experience in content creation and social media marketing.
