Job Description

We are seeking a Java Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs and a proven ability to design, build, and maintain secure, high-quality production software and supporting data solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Execute software design, development, and troubleshooting while applying nonroutine problem-solving to build solutions and decompose technical problems.
• Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with integrated systems.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure software code meets design constraints.
• Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets to improve software applications and systems.
• Identify hidden problems and patterns in data and use insights to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
• Contribute to engineering communities of practice and events exploring emerging technologies.
• Support a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ years of software development experience with enterprise applications.
• Proficiency in Java with Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs.
• Proficient in coding in one or more programming languages and database querying languages.
• Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment.
• Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Solid understanding of Agile practices including CI/CD, resiliency, and security.
• Demonstrated knowledge within a technical discipline such as cloud, AI/ML, or mobile.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies such as React.js or Angular.
• Exposure to AWS services such as EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, and Lambda.
