Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Risk Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in risk management, internal controls, compliance, and internal audit and a proven ability to translate complex processes into clear risk and control documentation, drive project milestones, and ensure methodological consistency.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a clear understanding of enterprise risks, controls, and methodologies through review of risk assessments, policies, and procedures.
• Translate complex operational processes into structured risk and control language aligned to the established methodology.
• Identify and document evidence requirements for each control, including source systems, report names, and retention expectations.
• Facilitate working sessions with process owners to validate risk, control, and evidence details.
• Develop and maintain a detailed project plan for documentation, evidence mapping, and walkthroughs by process area.
• Track progress against timelines and milestones, identify risks to delivery, and escalate issues as needed.
• Monitor documentation quality and ensure consistent application of methodology across process areas.
• Support preparation of periodic progress updates for leadership.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or finance, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years in risk management, internal controls, compliance, internal audit, or related field, preferably in Commercial Banking and/or Fiduciary and Wealth Management.
• Experience with GRC or risk-management systems; AuditBoard preferred.
• Knowledge of operational and regulatory risks and controls, concepts, and practices.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to establish effective relationships with senior management across functions and business units.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks and balance long-range projects and immediate tasks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience presenting progress updates and status reporting to leadership.
• Background working independently under broad supervision in hybrid environments.
