Job Description

We are seeking a Production Associate to join our team at the LOL facility. The role supports daily production by transferring product between filler and chiller, maintaining product quality, and upholding safety and food compliance standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in food production, material handling, and GMP/HACCP environments with a proven ability to operate in cold and noisy conditions while meeting production targets safely.

Key Details:

  • Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
  • Schedule: Mon-Fri, 6:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Shift schedules could include weekends. Hours subject to business needs.
  • Solid transportation required.
  • Steel-toed shoes required. Composite safety shoe covers may be provided if needed.

Pre-Submission Resume Questions:

  • Ability to stand on feet for up to 10 hours per day.
  • Comfort working in a cold environment and moving in and out of a 38°F chiller throughout the shift. Jacket may be self-provided or provided onsite.
  • Willingness to wear hearing protection in a noisy production environment.
  • Comfort wearing PPE: white lab jacket, protective glasses, helmet, and shoe covers.
  • Comfort with team lifts up to 50 pounds when moving boxes.
  • Comfort transferring two- and four-pound carts in and out of chillers and flipping trays in 38°F chillers as needed.
  • Ability to perform other duties as assigned, including transferring to the Kitchen area.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
  • Any prior food industry knowledge.

Responsibilities:

  • Attend and manage the transfer area from filler to chiller.
  • Inform supervisors or leads of any product information discrepancies.
  • Transfer carts of production in and out of chillers and stage them in the WIP area.
  • Orient product alignment in the designated table area.
  • Flip trays in chillers as needed.
  • Rework product that is below specification.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S.
  • Promote a safe work environment at all times.
  • Follow HACCP principles and Good Manufacturing Practices. Comply with Food and Personal Safety Procedures, company policies, and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including support in the Kitchen area.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 18 years or older.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions. Basic math skills.
  • Self-reliant with the ability to work accurately under limited supervision.
  • Comfort working in cold and noisy environments while wearing PPE.

Minimum General Requirements:

  • Frequent walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing, and other active movements.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs with team assistance as needed.
  • Perform duties while wearing personal protective equipment.
  • Work across temperature zones, including extended time in cold or hot areas, and in environments where dust may be present.

Preferred Skills:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Bilingual in Spanish.
  • Prior experience in the food industry or GMP/HACCP environments.

Role Conditions and Notes:

  • Not emergency day labor. Not temp-to-hire.
  • No operation of forklifts, tractors, vehicles, or machines. No manlift use. No confined spaces.
  • No respirator required.
  • Exposure to cold and noise will occur.
  • Hours per day: 8. Labor type: Industrial. Respond by date: 03/19/2026. Maximum submissions per supplier: 6.
