Job Description
We are seeking a Field Technical Support Consultant IV to join our team supporting a professional banking environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in end-user hardware and software support, Windows endpoint administration, ServiceNow ticket management, and Cisco/server fundamentals and a proven ability to deliver high-quality desk-side and remote support, prevent escalations, and maintain accurate service documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Configure, install, test, and replace end-user hardware components and peripherals.
- Manage and resolve hardware and software incidents to prevent escalation, using ServiceNow.
- Reimage PCs, back up and restore user data, and validate software installations and functionality.
- Provide cross-divisional troubleshooting and maintain accurate ticket updates and work orders.
- Support VDI, patch management, encryption, antivirus, and endpoint management tools.
- Utilize enterprise utilities to diagnose and resolve workstation performance and access issues.
- Deliver customer service to high-touch and executive users in a fast-paced setting.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of professional experience in software/hardware support, including server and Cisco technology fundamentals.
- Proficiency supporting and troubleshooting Microsoft 365 applications, including Teams, Outlook, and Windows OS.
- Experience with VDI, patch management, encryption technologies, antivirus, and incident/request management.
- Hands-on expertise with user data backup and recovery, and reimaging devices remotely and desk-side.
- Knowledge of two-factor authentication and access troubleshooting.
- Strong customer communication and service skills, with the ability to work independently.
- Availability to work onsite Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, with flexibility for after-hours as needed.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ServiceNow or a similar ITSM ticketing platform.
- Background supporting executive or high-profile users in financial services.
