Job Description
We are seeking a Service Delivery - Business Advisor to join our team. The role will support Medicaid-participating providers through on-site engagement and remote coordination. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Medicaid policy, provider relationship management, and field-based service delivery and a proven ability to drive compliance, manage a territory, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a remote field representative for a designated territory in the Dallas area.
- Conduct scheduled and unscheduled face-to-face provider visits to ensure adherence to Medicaid policies and procedures.
- Travel daily within the assigned territory, up to 3 hours each direction from home, using a reliable personal vehicle. Mileage reimbursed at $0.70 per mile.
- Maintain current knowledge of Medicaid policies, internal processes, and available provider resources.
- Independently manage workload and territory using internal tools, reports, and tracking mechanisms.
- Monitor personal performance and workflow to complete assigned tasks accurately and on time.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with providers, peers, and internal workgroups.
- Participate in remote team trainings, workgroups, and collaborative initiatives.
- Meet contractual and program obligations while promoting a consistent and professional presence in the provider community.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Knowledge of State Medicaid programs, provider policies, and resources.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
- Strong interpersonal communication and cross-functional teamwork.
- Self-management with ability to organize a travel-based schedule and manage territory activities.
- Analytical and reporting skills to utilize internal reports and monitor progress.
Preferred Skills:
- Time management and territory organization in field-based roles.
- Effective verbal and written communication with provider audiences.
- Independent decision making and problem solving in remote settings.
- Experience in provider-facing or healthcare support roles.
