Title: Lab Technologist
Location: Arden Hills, MN
Hours- Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Payrate: $26.50/hr
Duration: 6 months

Description:
Specialty Cheese Powder Food Technologist
Job Description: Provides general knowledge in the development/evaluation of product (cheese and dairy powders) and analytical testing while providing technical support to Project Leaders by performing routine functions.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Lab Restock and Inventory check
* Lab Cleaning
* Analytical submissions
* Weigh ups
* Coating on popcorn or other snack bases
* Dry Blending of powders
* Sample request fulfillment
* Team tasting sensory set up
* Freezer inventory/clean-out
* Sifting and logging product from Pilot Plant dryer
* Processing of and shipping out samples of powder
* Pilot Plant assistance during runs
* Skills needed - organization, proactiveness, communication, collaboration
* Ability to lift, carry, and move 50 lb. bags of powder
* Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Experience using Excel/Word/Outlook helpful

Education:
* HS degree or equivalent with 3+ years of practical experience
* 2 or more years of relevant work experience in a lab setting
