Job Description

We are seeking a Inventory Control Clerk to join our team in Andover MA. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in advanced inventory control operations, cycle counting, and variance reconciliation and a proven ability to manage complex inventory processes independently, resolve discrepancies, and optimize material flow.

Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day inventory control support to manufacturing and distribution areas.
• Plan and perform cycle counts, schedule counts, and coordinate physical inventories.
• Research and reconcile inventory variances and investigate discrepancies in stock counts.
• Use inventory control systems and reporting tools to manage material flow and maintain accurate records of quantity, cost, and material type.
• Requisition supplies, verify received materials, and determine physical and financial variances.
• Inspect incoming articles and reject defective items following established procedures.
• Prepare inventory records and reports to support audits and operational requirements.
• Determine methods and procedures for new assignments and contribute to the development of improved inventory practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Advanced knowledge of inventory control principles, cycle counting, and reconciliation.
• Proficiency with inventory management systems and reporting tools.
• Ability to work independently with sound judgment on complex assignments.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capability.
• Forklift operation experience.
• English language proficiency.
• 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in manufacturing or distribution environments at enterprise scale.
• Background in process improvement for inventory accuracy and material flow.
