Position Title: Logistics Administrator

Location: Eagan, MN

Anticipated Start Date: 03/24/2025

Expected Duration: 2+ months

Job Type: Full Time (>%3D40 HRS WEEKLY) - CONTRACT - Hybrid

Pay Range: $50/hr to $56/hr

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Key responsibilities:

• Accomplish timely, accurate and professional support for barge and vessel logistical needs to customers both internal and external
• Assist in and originate the computation of various logistical studies, involving lay time calculations, freight requirements and general operational costs and benefits analysis
• Maintain proper records.
• Collect barge and vessel data for the purposes of determining expectation of placement, to meet product shipping requirements
• Transportation Coordination and analysis: - Assist in coordination with carriers - Assist in coordination of carrier onboarding - Assist in development of key carrier metrics and records
• Review and process payments of freight and other related expenses
• Coordinate investigation of barge and vessel demurrage/dispatch/storage as well as verify all settlements with internal and external partners in a timely manner
• Provide various reporting to management as required
• Participating in Continuous Improvement projects as needed
• Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.

Minimum Qualifications (required)
* Knowledge of Supply Chain and/or Logistics
* High School Diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Economics, Manufacturing, Logistics, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management
