Job Description

We are seeking a Software Engineering Support Analyst II to provide technical support for the creation and delivery of software products. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in software development support, UNIX environments, networking fundamentals, and infrastructure operations and a proven ability to plan, coordinate, integrate, troubleshoot, and administer software development tools and release systems to ensure reliable delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the process, design, development, and usage of software development tools and systems.
  • Plan, coordinate, integrate, and administer systems used for build, configuration, and release management.
  • Collaborate with developers on documentation, design, code, integration, testing, change control, and release activities.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across UNIX, networks, and development pipelines with independent judgment.
  • Track and manage delivery of software products and related test ware.
  • Lead projects or supervise activities of team members as needed within the area of expertise.
  • Perform physical de-racking, moving, and re-racking of network equipment as required onsite.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong UNIX skills for system administration, scripting, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and data center hardware handling, including physical de-racking and re-racking of equipment.
  • Experience with software development lifecycle support, CI/CD, change control, and release management.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills with ability to resolve complex issues independently.
  • Clear communication and collaborative teamwork across engineering and operations.
  • Experience level: Minimum 3 years in Software Development or Support, or equivalent.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with build and release tools, version control, and issue tracking systems.
  • Background in Agile or Scrum delivery environments.
