Position Title: Mail Production Specialist
Location: 8725 Henderson Rd Tampa FL 33634
Anticipated Start Date: 11/17
Expected Duration: 6 months
Job Type: Contract with possible extension/Temp to Hire
Shift: Training: Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM EST (1 week mailroom); Regular: Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM EST; Mandatory OT as need
Pay Rate: $18/hr on W2
Requirement: High School Diploma or GED required; minimum 1 year of production-related experience preferred.
Position Purpose:
To distribute incoming and outgoing correspondence efficiently and accurately.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
3 months to 1 year of production-related experience preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
* Open, sort, and prepare incoming correspondence.
* Scan incoming correspondence using high-speed scanners.
* Record and track specified incoming documents.
* Appropriately file imaged claims, appeals, adjustments, and inferior-quality imaged claims.
* Generate and mail correspondence related to submission errors.
* Lift totes weighing up to 35-40 pounds.
* Participate in mandatory overtime as required.

Purpose of the Team:
The Mail Sort and Scan Center team is responsible for handling all inbound mail operations, including sorting, scanning, and distributing correspondence.
Team Culture & Environment:
This role involves repetitive work in a fast-paced mailroom and warehouse setting. Team members open and sort USPS, UPS, and boxed mail, preparing and scanning items using high-speed scanners. The position requires sitting, standing, walking, and lifting throughout the day. Comfortable shoes are recommended due to the active nature of the work.
Hiring Initiative:
This position supports ongoing operational needs and may be part of a larger hiring initiative.

Accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to production and quality standards.

Hands-on production environment involving both mail processing and physical warehouse tasks.
