Job Description
We are seeking a Case Management Assistant to join our team supporting Estates and Trusts. The ideal candidate will have experience in reviewing legal documents, managing case backlogs, and communicating with courts and law firms and a proven ability to assess case status, determine next actions, and close files accurately.
Responsibilities:
Review images and case notes to determine current status and next steps for Estates and Trusts matters.
Check court dockets for updates and document findings.
Call attorneys’ offices to obtain case status or request additional information.
Prepare and send required letters and correspondence.
Close files when appropriate in accordance with guidelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience reviewing court filings and legal documents.
Strong attention to detail and ability to track case statuses.
Clear verbal and written communication skills for attorney and court interactions.
Proficiency with docket research and case management tools.
Preferred Skills:
Paralegal experience or certificate.
Background in Estates and Trusts or related legal domains.
