Job Title: Program Manager - Lockbox System Implementation

Location: Chicago, IL 60603 (Onsite)

Duration: 15 Months (Contract)

Timings: 8 AM to 5 PM or 9 AM to 6 PM

Pay Rate: $130/hr. On W2

Anticipated start date: ASAP

Job Responsibilities

• We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead a high-impact, cross-functional initiative to build a new lockbox system and onboard a major client with 100+ lockboxes. This role will oversee all aspects of program delivery, including technology, operations, implementations, product, and coordinate with legal, control,, and cyber partners. The Program Manager will establish and run the Program Management Office (PMO), ensuring effective governance, stakeholder engagement, and executive reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program Leadership:
• Lead the end-to-end delivery of the lockbox system implementation and client onboarding program.
• Establish and manage the PMO, including program governance, reporting, and documentation.
• Develop and maintain the integrated program plan, timelines, and budgets.
• Stakeholder Management:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for executive sponsors, the steering committee, and key stakeholders.
• Facilitate regular status meetings, executive updates, and steering committee sessions.
• Ensure alignment across technology, operations, implementations, legal, control, and cybersecurity teams.
• Risk & Issue Management:
• Proactively identify, assess, and manage program risks and issues.
• Develop mitigation strategies and escalate critical issues as needed.
• Change Management:
• Implement and manage change control processes for scope, schedule, and budget.
• Ensure all changes are documented, communicated, and approved.
• Quality Assurance:
• Monitor program deliverables for quality, timeliness, and alignment with business objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Operations, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in program/project management, preferably in financial services or payments.
• Proven track record managing large, complex, cross-functional programs.
• Experience with technology implementations, operations transformation, and client onboarding.
• Strong knowledge of program governance, PMO best practices, and executive reporting.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• PMP, PgMP, or similar certification preferred.
