Job Description

We are seeking a CE Facility Support Engineer - Electrical to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in critical environment electrical systems, UPS maintenance, and adherence to SOPs and safety protocols and a proven ability to perform preventive maintenance, conduct operational rounds, and support troubleshooting in high-availability facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Complete all tasks aligned with CE Tech Level 1 responsibilities.
• Perform daily operational readings of electrical equipment through routine rounds and logging, including temperatures, voltages, and currents.
• Follow standard operating procedures for planned critical environment work activities.
• Energize cabinets in colocation environments per procedure.
• Conduct Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) preventive maintenance on quarterly and annual cycles.
• Perform system control panel preventive maintenance.
• Execute battery preventive maintenance activities.
• Assist with troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of instrument sensors and perform calibrations.
• Adhere to safety procedures and comply with all physical security procedures and policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with electrical systems in high-availability or critical infrastructure environments such as data centers, oil and gas refineries, hospitals, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing.
• OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E certification.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of work or applied learning experience in technical fields such as automotive, electrical, controls, or data center.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including 12-hour shifts, rotating shifts, and varied work weeks.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Fundamental understanding of the National Electrical Code.

Preferred Skills:

• Qualified Electrical Worker designation.
• Previous data center experience.
