Job Title: Quality Control Analyst II
Location: Winchester, KY
Duration: 6 months. May lead to temp-to-hire. Travel - 6 months
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Shift: Saturday, Sunday, Monday 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM and every other Tuesday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Pay Range: $25.00 - $27.76/hr (W2).

Job Description
We are seeking a Quality Control Analyst II to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in analytical chemistry methods and GMP laboratory operations and a proven ability to execute and document quality testing for raw materials, in-process, finished goods, stability, and cleaning validation.
Responsibilities:
- Perform reliable, compliant analytical testing per USP/NF/EP/JP/FCC or customer methods, including Dissolution, Titration, Polarimetry, Loss on Drying, Viscosity, Residue on Ignition, Heavy Metal Content, FTIR, HPLC, and GC.
- Maintain accurate, contemporaneous written records for all analyses performed.
- Interpret and communicate analytical results and issues with clarity and timeliness.
- Plan and schedule daily tasks to meet priorities and deadlines.
- Operate basic laboratory equipment with general proficiency.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments per SOPs.
- Follow laboratory safety and chemical hygiene practices.
- Learn and apply standard operating procedures and test methods.
- Collaborate in a flow-to-the-work team environment to meet lab objectives.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area with peers.
- Perform peer review of analytical testing and documentation.
- Draft SOPs as needed.
- Support additional tasks aligned with high performance standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific field, or a non-scientific degree with at least 2 years of relevant material testing laboratory experience.
- Hands-on experience with analytical testing and basic laboratory equipment in a GMP or regulated setting.
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines with accuracy.
- Proficient English communication skills, written and verbal.
- Knowledge of lab safety and safe handling of chemicals of varying potency.
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to stand for extended periods while performing testing and achieve first-pass accuracy.
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Biology.
- 2-5 years of experience in Quality, Laboratory, Clinical, or Chemical Manufacturing roles, including internships or co-ops.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
