Anticipated Start Date: 09/30/2025

Expected Duration: 12+ MonthsPay Range: $60-$65/hr
Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). Summary:The scrum master needs to have good development knowledge & be able to hold technical conversations. Scrum master is being brought on for development of back end integration APIs using NodeJS, Kafka, Lambda & EKS.Responsibilities:
1. Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and sprint demos; collaborate with Product Owners to define and prioritize the product backlog; ensure the team adheres to agile principles and practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
2. Utilize JIRA for tracking project progress, managing tasks, maintaining transparency, generating and sharing JIRA statistics and reports to provide insights into team performance, sprint velocity, and project health; ensure accurate and timely updates of JIRA tickets by the team.
3. Gather and report on agreed agile metrics with Deloitte and Client leadership, continually monitoring upcoming risks and dependencies, and steering the team to manage expected outcomes.
4. Act as a liaison for the offshore team on technical issues working with client stakeholders
5. Represent the team on technical conversations during US hours working with tech leads in India
6. Resolve blockers for the India teamSkillsets needed:
Prior scrum master experience, Cloud experience, experience with full stack software development or APIs, NodeJs experience preferred, Insurance domain expertise preferred. Additional experience with AWS, Kafka, NodeJS, Typescript, Lambda and Mongo DB.
